ABOUT ABOUT

Summer Fun at Waldorf!

The Waldorf School of Baltimore’s new Makers Program is a 1 to 3 weeks hands-on program for rising 4th -8th graders. Makers will explore their interests in creating, designing, inventing, tinkering, engineering and making things with their hands. Our Makers Program offers a learning environment where makers will cultivate creativity and science, engineering, arts, and math skills through hands-on learning experiences with the help of adult mentors.

Each day workshops will make space for participants to design and make cool projects. Our maker coach will bring a variety of practical materials and tools into the hands of students in a way that encourages self-initiative, collaboration and creative design thinking. They will complete a weekly student-directed project inspired by a variety of options for types of projects based on their age and interests. The program fee of $175.00 per week includes materials and snacks. Students may register for one, two or three weeks.
